Hiring people from different parts of the world have its pros and cons, nowadays it is very important for a company to have a kind of diversity among their employees. Some of the benefits of having a multicultural work environment are the develop and maximize skillsets, by having different people from different cultures they can have different perspectives about how to do things, sharing and working together with those different perspectives could help achieve a goal more efficiently than if it was a single mindset. In the HHRR sector recruiting people from different places makes it easier because they broaden their search range to higher-level applicants, continuing with this, it helps the company to stand out in the market as well as retain employees as well as building the ideology of respect between company and employee. Cultural diversity increase employee engagement, outside of work employees can interact with each other in a more personal level, learn about their colleagues cultures and traditions, this will build trust, and with trust comes loyalty and with loyalty comes collaboration and all of those points are only going to help a business to improve. However is not all benefits, there are also some challenges when having a multicultural company and some of them are preconceptions from underrepresented cultures, misinterpretation across cultures and languages and conflicting working styles and etiquette. To manage those challenges it all comes down to the company and personal values of each employee.

I think the different beliefs and traditions, of course, sometimes it could cause problems because of the different ways of thinking and behaving, someone may not agree, but other times could help by learning one thing different of each one of them and transform the business to a competitive one, but also is necessary to have rules of behaving or accepting some different things that do not affect others and to avoid problems
The introduction is the first impression the new hire gets from the organization. I think that the main aspects that I consider important in a proper induction for a new employee are: The work place, the policies, introduction to the manager and team, collect the essential documentation of the employee, the schedule and obligations, the business mission, the members of it, I think is important to educate them about the company’s history, values and culture and details of insurance policy in case of illness. A bad induction can cause a reduction in job satisfaction, stress, people could leave the organization, is important to avoid forcing them for tasks without any instruction, this will generate a lack of confidence in the job requirement, also avoid giving them excessive information, they could feel overwhelmed.

Regina González Maldonado A) When you hire someone from other part of the world their beliefs could affect the way they see and perceive some aspects of their work, since many countries around the world have different work ethics, each person practices different traditions depending on their culture and in a healthy work space, workers must respect the traditions of others, thus achieving a good and enjoyable work environment.
It is crucial to be familiar with the preferences and behavioural patterns of your boss, your colleagues and your subordinate, particularly when those individuals come from a different continent.
It is becoming increasingly important to understand how working cultures differ. To manage the differences everyone should learn to appreciate and embrace the customs of foreign workplaces and workers, being able to build relationships.
B) A proper induction should make the employee feel welcomed, ensuring they settle in well and feel supported by you, giving them the information required for them to become a valuable team member. We as human beings want to be seen, appreciated and feel like we belong and make a difference as workers. When a company fails to do a proper induction , the employee might underperform, experience stress and not be able to develop.

José Antonio torre I think it is good at least in my company that people come to work from other parts of the world does not affect it, I think it would even benefit me. Well, if a person from another part of the world with other knowledge, beliefs, and religion comes to work at my company, it would not affect anything and if it starts to affect the environment in the company, we would help him to get to know our company. ways of working and managing the company, our religion, our beliefs, we did not force him to start believing the same as we do, nothing more than respecting and adapting them and that is why I think it would not affect because I as the head of the The company would help you in everything so that you adjust to the environment and the country in which you are living until we would teach you our language, it could even help you by paying for Spanish classes, so that you adapt more quickly, to the people who come from abroad to work Your company should be helped in everything, because they are new to the country. In fact, more than damaging the company, I think it would help the people who work there have more knowledge and are not so ignorant, in fact I would like people from other parts of the world to come and work at my company to have more knowledge and mo be as ignorant as many people. And if it starts to affect, I think that what we could do is find more people with the same beliefs, religions, customs, etc ... and put them to work together so that it does not affect the environment with the other employees, and this is how I think that a company would fix that problem, well at least my company would first do everything possible to make it adoate and if it can no longer be done then it would solve it that way, and I think it is a very good solution. but in summary I think it would not affect anything if a person from another part of the world comes to work at your company.

To help the new employee in their entry into a company, and shorten the time of adaptation and learning of the new functions in that organization, it is convenient to carry out a program that is called induction, this process allows us to get the new employees have a good start in the organization and according to studies carried out a good induction program helps us to retain and motivate employees.
A good induction process improves the retention rate of new hires by 82% and their productivity by more than 70%.
2. Employees who participate in a well-structured induction process are 69% more likely to stay with the company for three years.
3. A new hire needs 8-12 months to be as productive as his peers.
4. More than 50% of the employees who leave their jobs do so during the first twelve months.
5. In the United States, the cost of replacing an average employee is between 10% and 30% of their annual salary (in some cases, it can go up to one or two years)
The world of business has many purposes: to impulse the economy, give better services, make people’s life easier, but one of the this purposes is to give opportunities of life; the opportunities that are given for people are to be able to work and get an income, obviously it isn’t as simple as It sounds. Employing a person has a process were he shows his characteristics or abilities that will support an enterprise. Employing people depends a lot in your needs or the region you live, for example a man or woman from India wouldn’t work in a butcher shop because their religion says that cows are sacred.
We need to pay attention to the abilities and aspects our employees could have; to manage this we must assign positions that this person could work without differences or discrimination issues.
When we receive new employees we should help them to join the members of the company in order to make it easier.
Bethan Adelekan, 27 Aug 2013 (A good induction can increase staff retention, reduce the time needed for a new staff member to settle into the workplace and generally make for a happier work force.) https://www.siliconbeachtraining.co.uk/blog/induction-process-human-resources
Common complaints about induction processes include being bored, being overwhelmed by too much information or inductees just being left to their own devices.
If don’t do a correct process of induction the new members they could be in a bad situation because the won´t have a good adaptation process and this will affect the performance of them.
Daniel Jaime Vidal 3°E A) In some way it would be affecting the work in my office or company since there are some traditions such as Ramadan for Muslims or December 24 for Catholics and Christians, these dates could affect since there would be absences or there would be a streak of low performance in The case of Ramadan, although if I were the head of the company I would not give it much importance because if they do a good job in those times or give their 100 percent I would be satisfied. The only right way to solve this is to give them vacations but then would need to make an extra job time because of the lost time. Always leaving the employees to decide. B) When hiring an employee, I would tell them the bases of the company, if we work with some value such as companionship, they would know how long would be the working time, the quality of the work, which workers are the supervisors, how much money would he be receiving per month and mainly that it is necessary to respect the rules. If the employees are not properly induced, a toxic and dangerous work environment would be created in the sense of the future of the company, the workers would not know the ways of working and would create many different problems.
I believe that there will definitely always be differences in terms of cultures and countries and that is why people who come from other countries and seek employment can find it difficult to be compatible with local people such as Mexicans who go to the United States to work looking for economic opportunities they arrive alone and are willing to work for less money than a gringo and when we enter they see us in a bad way as if they were a threat and this not only happens with illegal immigrants but also with immigrant people who study AND have a career in the country with a bachelor's degree and even so there are problems of these but I think that it is definitely something that can be worked on since many people are against discrimination and that is what bosses and leaders in the companies that help are for to take these cases and create a friendly community. I always believed that the most important thing was a moral and ethical person and people like that, although it costs them more work to live in a work environment with people from other parts of the world despite the fact that they speak other languages. own will.
I think it could have an impact but not in a bad way, it is good to have a diverse workplace because you have different perspectives and maybe you could learn work techniques from other countries that can help your company. It is important that managers understand how to identify and address cultural differences to facilitate productive communication and cultivate a positive company environment accepting of people from all cultures. Understanding the background of everyone on your team allows you to research their cultural norms and prepare to accommodate them.
B) What are the aspects that you consider are important to mention in a proper induction for a new employee? What are the consequences of not doing a good induction?
The main purpose of an induction is to integrate the new employees into the company and show them the systems, procedures, culture, values and the organization itself. It is the training to your job. The induction can help the new hires to develop confidence and sense of belonging. It is important to communicate what is expected of them, their responsibilities and how they should handle themselves. If you don’t do a good induction, it may take a long time for the employee to adjust and settle. This can result in stress, unhappiness and reduced job satisfaction, leading them to leave.

In my opinion it doesn’t matter if you have different beliefs of different traditions, different color or different expectative from life, everybody must be equal, maybe not everybody can be equal, so there are always going to be some issues, but they may be easy to solve, first of all you need to make sure nobody is harmfully treating bad another, For example, I am a very open Person; but in my personal experience is very traumatizing those people who cover completely, so if a Person from the middle east comes to work to Mexico, and is completely cover up, she may have some difficulties fitting in. if I was the leader of the company she is coming to work to I would make sure she is working in an respectful envirment, my company would have zero tolerance on discrimination aspects, also I would make sure she is not the only one, I would want an inclusive company, find about more ideas other countries have to offer, travel to understand why they think that way. So, I can understand they. At the end the most important thing to remember is that we are all humans, and we must be treated with equality and respect.
A) I don't think it has to affect, all the people in the world have different beliefs or traditions. There are ignorant or classist people who may find some beliefs and traditions of other people offensive because they are not the same as theirs, all beliefs or traditions should be respected as long as it does not affect others or rules already established in the workplace. . It can be managed by setting rules at work that respect everyone's customs and traditions as long as they are respectful and do not affect others in a way that they have to be included.
B) Regulations, coexistence, contracts, machinery, etc. This he considered to be the most important thing since people compare what they believe and their ideals with what their job offers them, it depends a lot on the person if they decide to accept the job The consequences of not doing a correct induction are bad for the workplace since it can be bad for the performance of the employee performing less in his work, it can also affect the reputation of the company because the employee is not doing his job well, among other things .
Dyna Rosado 12th E a) I think I would possibly change something. I would give myself the time to get to know people or at least their beliefs, traditions and personality in order to understand and know them, however I think that is not something that implies a great change since naturally we are different and there must be mutual respect, There wouldn´t be reason to treat someone differently (if naturally there is respect) since I think that sometimes it is even more uncomfortable for the person to do it when not. However, I would let them know what the work environment is like, I would explain the form of communication and I would always be open to complaints, suggestions or whatever is necessary for there to be a good atmosphere and communication. I would explain to them how we usually do things and work together and create an environment of trust-respect so that it is easier for them to comment on whether or not they dislike something about how they are treated.
B) I consider that it is necessary to take into account mentioning things of the company such as objectives, goals, general things such as schedules, payments, standards, rules and things of their position and the work environment. I believe that if there is an induction or a good indication, they affect the employee and the company since they leave it to its own devices and without knowledge as it should be done and the company would lose time, money and resources

Gabriel Aguayo Díaz 3E Every difference between any people creates a difference, even if the individuals are from the same society but different race, I believe that introducing a foreigner to a working team has at least some effect, obviously it depends on which society or culture the individuals come from and how different they are from ours. I think the best way to avoid any confrontation or more specifically any problem in production and working dynamics is to communicate to every employee the background of the individual or individuals and also explain those people how our customs and society works. With that it will be way easier to create a good working relationship between each employee. There are many aspects you need to mention to a new employee in an induction, for example how the business functions, how his work creates value and revenue. Another thing to mention is the reasons you hired the employee, why do you need him and what are your expectations of his work, with that comes another point that is setting goals for the employee, and also explaining what are the general goals of the company itself. The last thing is to explain who are it’s customers, how to give them service or sell them a product, and what are they expecting from the company itself.

ResponderBorrarA) When you hire someone from other part of the world their beliefs could affect the way they see and perceive some aspects of their work, since many countries around the world have different work ethics, each person practices different traditions depending on their culture and in a healthy work space, workers must respect the traditions of others, thus achieving a good and enjoyable work environment.

ResponderBorrarI think it is good at least in my company that people come to work from other parts of the world does not affect it, I think it would even benefit me.

ResponderBorrarThe world of business has many purposes: to impulse the economy, give better services, make people’s life easier, but one of the this purposes is to give opportunities of life; the opportunities that are given for people are to be able to work and get an income, obviously it isn’t as simple as It sounds.

ResponderBorrarI believe that there will definitely always be differences in terms of cultures and countries and that is why people who come from other countries and seek employment can find it difficult to be compatible with local people such as Mexicans who go to the United States to work looking for economic opportunities they arrive alone and are willing to work for less money than a gringo and when we enter they see us in a bad way as if they were a threat and this not only happens with illegal immigrants but also with immigrant people who study AND have a career in the country with a bachelor's degree and even so there are problems of these but I think that it is definitely something that can be worked on since many people are against discrimination and that is what bosses and leaders in the companies that help are for to take these cases and create a friendly community.

ResponderBorrarIn my opinion it doesn’t matter if you have different beliefs of different traditions, different color or different expectative from life, everybody must be equal, maybe not everybody can be equal, so there are always going to be some issues, but they may be easy to solve, first of all you need to make sure nobody is harmfully treating bad another, For example, I am a very open Person; but in my personal experience is very traumatizing those people who cover completely, so if a Person from the middle east comes to work to Mexico, and is completely cover up, she may have some difficulties fitting in. if I was the leader of the company she is coming to work to I would make sure she is working in an respectful envirment, my company would have zero tolerance on discrimination aspects, also I would make sure she is not the only one, I would want an inclusive company, find about more ideas other countries have to offer, travel to understand why they think that way. So, I can understand they. At the end the most important thing to remember is that we are all humans, and we must be treated with equality and respect.

ResponderBorrarA) I don't think it has to affect, all the people in the world have different beliefs or traditions.
This he considered to be the most important thing since people compare what they believe and their ideals with what their job offers them, it depends a lot on the person if they decide to accept the job
The consequences of not doing a correct induction are bad for the workplace since it can be bad for the performance of the employee performing less in his work, it can also affect the reputation of the company because the employee is not doing his job well, among other things .

ResponderBorrara) I think I would possibly change something.

ResponderBorrarEvery difference between any people creates a difference, even if the individuals are from the same society but different race, I believe that introducing a foreigner to a working team has at least some effect, obviously it depends on which society or culture the individuals come from and how different they are from ours.
